    OASIS Academy Immingham has received national recognition for being one of the most improved in the UK. It picked up an award from the Specialist Schools And Academic Trust, which represents more than 90 per cent of UK schools.

    Feeder schools get the chance to Engineer their futures

    Oasis Academy: Immingham and ConocoPhillips have launched a new scheme to get youngsters hooked on Engineering. The Educating Engineering Kids (EEK) project has been set up to inspire local junior school pupils to think about working in the industry. It is hoped the scheme will go some way to addressing the skills shortage faced by industries on the South Bank of the Humber.

    “Business as usual”

    The heating problems that we experienced yesterday have been rectified and we do not envisage any further immediate problems. This means that the Academy is open as usual and we will now be focussed on making up the learning time.

    Fifteen Level 3 Acting students from Year 10 went to the Sheffield's Lyceum Theatre for a night of Theatre. Mr Foxton was joined by Mrs Rothenburg and Mr Brooks on a trip to see the ghost story The Woman in Black on Monday 22nd February.

    Gram Seed to kick start Academy Alpha Course

    Former hard man Gram Seed will be visiting Immingham Town on the 25th of Feb, to tell his story, and encourage people to explore Christianity. The visit is to launch an ‘Alpha Course’, which is designed to encourage people to think more about the Christian faith.
