Oasis has talent in the Community

 

Twelve members of the Oasis Academy Immingham recently took part in the Methodist Chapel’s  39th Pantomime, performed by members of the Trinity Methodist Youth Club and Friends.

This year the Pantomime was Dick Whittington, written by Rob Till, a Drama Instructor at the Academy, and directed by Phil Brooks, Learning Director of Drama, who also starred as King Rat.

Seven performances  took place over two weekends and over 700 people came along to see this popular annual community event.

Students from the Academy took part had the following to say about the experience :-

“I really enjoyed doing the panto as I really enjoy Drama, and it’s a good way to get involved in the community.”
