The vision of the Academy is to create both an outstanding school and a community hub.
The opportunity to include valuable community facilities comes through the new building. The aim is for local residents to be able to access an adult learning centre; a learning resource centre; a gym; sports courts and out-of-hours youth activities.
Services which support the health and well-being of the Academy and local community are integral to Oasis Community Learning's Academies programme. In Immingham we are seeking to work closely with local agencies and those in the voluntary sector. As well as serving students, the Academy aims to be a hub to support the community.
Oasis believes that it has a duty to respect the environment through a commitment to sustainability and diversity. Resources entrusted to the Oasis Academy will be used with integrity and responsibility.
Oasis Academy Immingham is involved in numerous projects engaging with the local community, including One Voice the community service provider.

The Academy has recently introduced a community cohesion team which will be supporting students with their personal, social and community development (PSCD).

Each Oasis Academy supports and fundraises for STOP THE TRAFFIK - a global coalition of more than 1,000 member organisations in 50 countries and tens of thousands of activists all over the world.
STOP THE TRAFFIK exists to PREVENT the sale of people, PROTECT the trafficked and PROSECUTE the traffickers.

Aye mate! And welcome to limbo! Problem: I have no idea what page you're trying to work on. You need to define a body ID in the template, then turn on the necessary rows and columns in layout.css. Arrrrgh!
