Why a Sixth Form?

We will value you as an individual regardless of background and ability.  We will offer you the chance to unlock your potential and thrive in a secure and caring learning environment. We have experienced staff whose priority is to offer you support in all aspects of your academic and personal well-being. You will not be one among hundreds of students therefore staff and students will get to know you personally, creating a positive and friendly environment.

We can offer you help with work placements, work experience, applications for universities and colleges (UCAS) as well as provide references for part time work. Overall, we can offer courses, which will suit you, dedicated teaching staff and a chance to be part of the accommodating and blossoming community that is Oasis Immingham Sixth Form.

Sixth Form Facilities

Each student will have access to ICT facilities and will receive directed VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) time to aid studies. The Sixth Form is privileged to have a social area and access to the LRC (Learning Resource Centre).

Sixth Form Opportunities

We see Sixth Formers as integral members of the Academy community.  We would like every Sixth Former to become part of the Academy by assisting staff in lessons, helping with fundraising and helping out with extra curricular activities.   

How to apply

Application forms are available at the open evening on Thursday 7th February 2008 (3.30 - 7.30pm) and are to be handed in to Ms Young by Wednesday 13th February 2008. Interviews will take place on Thursday 28th February & Thursday 6th March.
