Travel and Tourism

Students will gain the knowledge and understanding needed to follow a career within the travel and tourism industry, including local and worldwide travel. In depth analysis of the industry, travel locations worldwide, marketing travel and tourism as well as customer service and selling skills in travel and tourism. The industry is growing vastly especially in the Lincolnshire area with close access to two airports.

The Catering Single Award course will develop catering skills related to food preparation and service. It includes two practical tasks (45 hours in total) plus one written exam paper about Catering, food and the customer. The Hospitality Single Award course will develop hospitality skills related to events and functions. It includes one event based task (45 hours in total) plus one written exam paper about hospitality and the customer. Hospitality & Catering Double Award is available covering all units from both
courses.

The C.A.C.H.E. level 2 qualification prepares students to work as an early years practitioner in a variety of child care settings. This is a one year course which includes both theory and practical training in child care development  and associated essentials to  enable students to progress on to the level 3 course.

The C.A.C.H.E. level 3 qualification prepares students to work with children and their families in a variety of settings and environments within child sector services. The diploma prepares students to work unsupervised or in a supervisory capacity. The course is two years and covers both theory and practical aspects of working with and caring for children.
